Atlantic Canadian Poets' Archive

Poetic Places Fredericton is proudly partnered with the Atlantic Canadian Poets' Archive. The ACPA is an online resource launched in March of 2012 by Dr. Kathleen McConnell, a local poet and member of the St. Thomas University English Department specializing in Creative Writing (and the mastermind behind Poetic Places Fredericton). In addition to providing access to poems written by Atlantic Canadian poets, the ACPA also provides biographical and bibliographical information about the poets, as well as critical analyses of the poems. The entries are all written by Undergraduate students, with some guidance from the ACPA editor, either voluntarily or as an assignment for a class.

Many of the poets showcased on Poetic Places Fredericton already have ACPA entries, which you will find linked on our poets' pages under their For More Information sections.

If you enjoy this site, consider paying a visit to http://www.stu-acpa.com/ more Atlantic Canadian poetry from the whole region.
